We are trying to get as 'bottled up' (and cans) as possible. Every 5 cents counts. If you have some bottles and/or cans that need to be redeemed, would you consider donating to Manes and Tails Scholarship Fund? This fund raiser is inspired by Don Violette, our wonderful bottle hounder, who this past summer, when ever he visited someone and saw bottles, he asked for a donation. He raised well over $200 during the summer, so we decided to all give it a try.

We have drop points around the county and can pick up from most places, The pickup/drop info is down at the end of this email. THANKS!! Extra thanks to the TSC stores and the staff for their help

Manes and Tails Scholarship Fan Club winner for February, Tracy Thibodeau, Caribou. Thanks Tracy for returning your winnings as a donation to the MT Scholarship fund.

Yes, we are still selling 20$ tickets for the scholarship fan club. Each ticket gives you a number which goes into a jar. On the first of the month a number is picked and matched to the name for a $100 prize. Your number stays in the jar for 12 months, that's 12 chances to win $100 for a 20$ donation. All donations are tax deductible. We are still hoping to increase the number of people signed up and hope most will renew when their 12 months expires. With enough members, we can also pic a $50 winner each month, but have a LONG way to go for that.

thanks Kim and Pat:

Good morning to all,

We are networking for a person who owns a 9 year old mare, and her 2 year old colt (that will need to be gelded). She loves these two horses, but due to current circumstances she can no longer care for them at this time. She is looking for a "good home" for them, and would like them to stay together. They both are in very

good health, and the owner has asked us for help in finding a knowledgeable horse owner who can keep them together. The colt is weaned, but has always been with his mom. There is the expense in gelding the colt that should be gelded as soon as possible. The mare has been ridden in the past. The colt has been handled, but due to his age he will need further training as he matures. The mare is Quarter Horse/Morgan, and her colt is Paint/Quarter Horse/Morgan. We would like to find someone who uses a Natural Horsemanship approach, and has some type of experience in developing young horses in order to give the colt the best start in life. We have attached photos of the two horses. Please email Nonie at [email protected] for more information.

I have the email with photos is anyone interested, [email protected]
