Happy heat stroke everyone,

 

While most of the horse people readers are teaching, practicing, competing, swatting horse and deer flies and trail riding in the rain, the rest of our friends hopefully are at the lake or visiting family.... or being visited!

to EVERYONE who has been approved for MT scholarships, parents, CMs or providers: you need to let us know when you start or plan to start sessions with horses so we can send the money to the provider. write or call me [email protected] 868 5324. We have funds waiting to go out but can't send until a schedule is confirmed.

Great news! Barn Dance (June 2) coming together, wish us great weather please!! April 1 meeting at Tracy Thibodeau's Equine Inspirations Learning Center, Plante Rd, Caribou 2pm, we'll be planning barn dance family afternoon activities and evening of music. Lots of support coming in, including Monticello Rec Dept offering activities and games. DC Express gave us a great deal on music, we're hoping for a sponsor. We will be looking to provide food and refreshments also... volunteers and donatio...

Congrats to Manes and Tails. ?????? The March 1 winner of the Scholarship Fan Club $100 drawing is "MT Bottles" That may sound strange but it was money from a bottle donation specifically designated to purchase a Scholarship Fan Club ticket that would help the Fund if chosen a winner. We actually have two like this. On the first of each month we go to the jar and pull out a number, then to the notebook where the name of the entry is recorded next to the number. We are trying to get as 'bottled up' (and cans) as possible. Every 5 cents counts. If you have some bottles and/or cans that need to be redeemed, would you consider donating to Manes and Tails Scholarship Fund? This fund raiser is inspired by Don Violette, our wonderful bottle hounder, who this past summer, when ever he visited someone and saw bottles, he asked for a donation. He raised well over $200 during the summer, so we decided to all give it a try.
